In Light Beyond the Veil, you blend personal grief with spiritual growth—what inspired you to share your father’s passing so openly, and how did writing this memoir impact your own healing?

My overwhelming loss led me to understand that spiritual elements were necessary for my healing journey. In that healing process, the organic left brain’s function was limited. My unfiltered story was shared because I believed it would help those who needed it. To do that, I needed to be completely transparent and unreserved.

“Writing is a reflection of our innermost thoughts—a journey into our vulnerabilities and strengths.”Dr. Ann Zachariah

Unlock Your Best Self & Conquer Grief offers seven strategies—was there one in particular that shifted your perspective most profoundly while writing?

Yes, often overlooked is the importance of honoring the loss. To keep going, we repress our sadness. Unless we acknowledge and accept our grief, we cannot move on from it.

In From Heartbreak to Healing: OMG! I JUST GOT GHOSTED, you explore ghosting—what psychological insight do you hope readers gain most from this book?

Briefly, your being ghosted isn’t about you. You are not to blame.

Your poetry in Wild Child of the Monsoons captures raw emotion—how does writing poetry differ emotionally from your self-help and memoir work?

Poetry is the dance of your dreams and the song of your soul. It frequently originates from your higher self.

The Invisible Red String weaves themes of destiny and cross-cultural connection—what real-life experiences influenced this story?

My childhood spanned three continents, immersing me in their diverse cultures. I infused my characters with unique colors by incorporating diverse cultural elements.

As a psychiatrist and author, how do you integrate clinical expertise into emotional guidance across your books?

I weave my clinical expertise into emotional guidance, often using storytelling. Stories filled with love and guidance touch the deepest parts of our hearts.

Looking across your work—memoir, poetry, self-help, fiction—what common thread do you feel ties them all together?

Personal empowerment, spiritual awakening and consciousness expansion

The underlying theme in all my writings is a gentle invitation for readers to recognize their own power and divinity, encouraging them to love themselves and create a life rooted in healing rather than past wounds

What advice would you give aspiring authors who wish to write authentically about personal pain and transformation?

Just as your voice expresses your unique vibration, your writing reflects it too. When you write with love and authenticity, you tap into your divine power, connecting with the hearts and minds of those seeking your unique message. Always write from your heart.
